The Koyo Store Blog – August 2019
Niall Irvin·August 13, 2019

Welcome to our blog, where we’ll be giving you a sneak peek behind the scenes at Koyo HQ and making sure you’re kept up to date with our latest products.
It’s been a jam-packed summer so far, kicking off with the launch of our Game of Thrones pin badge range.
We’re proud to be working with a partner like HBO on cool collectibles based on what is arguably the biggest TV show in the world.
As if the concluding season of the show wasn’t exciting enough, we created an officially-licensed collection of pin badges depicting the great Houses within Game of Thrones – namely, Stark, Targaryen, Lannister, Arryn, Tully, Greyjoy, Baratheon and Tyrell.
As obsessive fans of the show ourselves, it was a labour of love, and we’re thrilled at the reception Game of Thrones devotees have given the badges.
We’ve rolled out our new range of officially-licensed Street Fighter pins, which made their debut at VSFighting in Birmingham last month.
The summer has also been about Esports. The scene exploded onto the public consciousness following the Fortnite World Cup, and we’ve been beavering away on multiple initiatives in the space.
We helped Fnatic celebrate their 15th birthday by producing one-of-a-kind gold coins. We provided Ninjas in Pyjamas with pins for ESL One Cologne and created Championship Medallions for the ESL Premiership winners. We also hooked up with the Esports Awards to provide limited-edition coins to their Finalists.
We were honoured to take part in SpecialEffect’s Chicken for Charity 2 PUBG tournament and to create a one-off pin badge to mark the occasion.
Finally, we wanted to mention that we will be at Gamescom later this month and we’d love to meet you – hit us up on Twitter, and we’ll see you there!
